How to spend 3 days for free in Singapore (excluding transport)

Day 1-

Get the train to China Town MRT and explore the streets that serve delicious, cheap market or restrauant food and have a variety of Asian shops to explore. After wondering for a while make your way to the Bugis Markets and walk through all the walkways. The markets are under cover which is good for when it rains and there are may different little shops, ranging from food to clothes to electronics.

From there, continue to walk to Little India and Arab Street which have authentic cuisines too choose from. The streets make you feel like your in that country and there are many shop fronts filled with fabrics and carpets. A few streets away in Haji Lane are some creative art walls and cafes which reminded me of Melbourne CBD.

Day 2-

Get on the train to the Bayfront MRT and walk to  Gardens By The Bay. It’s free entry and you only pay if your going to see the Cloud Forest Dome (highly recommend) or the Flower Dome. Apart from these two main attractions there is still plenty to walk around and see. There is also a free night time show at 7.45pm and 8.45pm close to both the main domes which lasts about 15-20min and it’s a show of lights and music (highly recommended).

Day 3-

Get on the train to HarbourFront MRT and walk for free over the footbridge to Sentosa. When I went (end of Jan) it was free entry (low season) otherwise in peak season it’s a few dollars entry. From there walk and have a look at all the attractions and make your way down to the beaches. There are a few different beaches to have a swim/relax at. Make sure you visit Palawan Beach and walk across the amazing bridge to get some photos! When leaving we got the mono train back which was also free cause it was low season.
