We suck air in and then let it flow out.
Our lungs, heart and other organs are working around the clock to keep us alive.
But what happens when the world fades around you and you can’t think let alone remember to breath.
You start breathing faster and faster like there isn’t enough oxygen to fill your body. Your heart is racing, trying to pump the little oxygen it is receiving to all the vital organs in your body. Your mind starts shutting down. You think you are going to die.
You try to think rationally.
To try and breath slower but whatever event has happened that set you off, is just continually replaying in your mind. Your mind can be a dangerous place. You still can’t get enough oxygen in and you start getting dizzy, to the point where you may pass out.
This is a panic attack.
